Basic Fishing Knots – Easy Figure-Eight Knot

Let’s learn about the figure-eight knot, which is the most commonly used knot in fishing.

 

1. Turn the line forward once.

 

2. Twist the ring into a figure 8 shape.

 

3. Pass part 1 through the inside of circle 2.

 

4. Pull both sides. Adjust the size of the circle to suit your needs.

 

5. Cut the ends.
